You can use Videator to insert still images into recorded video.
To insert a still image into recorded video:
- Use the Image tab of the Preferences window to set the length of time that the image will appear in the video, whether there is a transition effect after the image, what the transition effect is (you can always change the transition later), and the quality and size of the imported image, For more information on these settings, see Slideshows.
- Set the selection in your video. One way to do that is to move the playhead to where you want the stills to appear, and press the I and O keys to move the In and Out markers to the playhead's position.
- Choose Open from the Edit menu and select an image in the standard Open File dialog. Or select one or more images in the Finder and drag them to the Videator document window.
- Choose Add to Movie from the dialog. (This dialog appears when you add one image. If you drag and drop two or more images, Videator assumes you want to add the images to the video rather than overlay them.
For more information on transition effects between still images, see Slideshows.
